Times Ahead

We are moving forward,
Getting ahead with times.
Living in a virtual world for more than three hundred days,
Listening to strangers’ crticism and decoding what they have to say.
World of metaverse has been introduced to us,
A whole new era of digital life.
Yet we have failed to save the only habitable planet in this universe,
And still wish for nature to be nice.
Some say the times ahead look bleak,
Some say the times ahead look bright.
Not sure if it is a matter of perception,
Or self-belief that needs introspection.
Surely, the times ahead are filled with curiosity,
Eager to move towards a new reality.
But will it bring the change we need,
Is yet unknown to our creed.
